Project Description

The new Microsoft Office is the largest purpose-built office for an end-user in the history of the state. It is 35,000sq.m and brings all 1,200 Microsoft Irish employees under one roof for the first time

Ethos Input

Ethos Engineering was commissioned to do the mechanical, electrical, vertical transportation, ICT, sprinkler design, and construction monitoring for the shell and core which was tendered in March 2015. Ethos was then retained to design the full services fit-out.

Unique / Key Features

The building has been designed in line with LEED Gold recommendations with a number of sustainable technologies incorporated into the services design including free cooling chillers, CHP, solar PV, LED lighting, and rainwater harvesting. When completed this will be the largest single-tenant building in Ireland.
